Indian School of Mines is advertising for one post of Junior Research Fellow at Danbad-82 6 0 04, (Under direct administrative control of MHRD, Govt, of India)

Applications are invited for 01 (one) JRF position in a DST, Govt, of India sponsored project “Atomistic simulations of boron nanoclusters for hydrogen storage and electro-optical applications” under the EMR scheme of SERB. Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- p.m + HRA (as per DST guidelines);

Qualifications: First class (60% marks or equivalent 6.5 OGPA) M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics or equivalent or M. Tech in Condensed Matter Physics/Computational Physics/Quantum Chemistry/ Materials Science and Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Nanoscience and Nanotechnology/Engineering Physics from UGC recognized University/Institute.

The NET/GATE qualified candidate will be given preference. Desirable: Knowledge in Fortran or C+ and Quantum or Computational Chemistry. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with project. The upper age limit is 28 years (age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per GOI rules).
