Department of Production and Quality Engineering conducts research and education in the fields Production Systems, Production Management, Project and Quality Management pg Security, reliability and maintenance. We have large and well equipped laboratories with extensive teaching and research. The Institute belongs to the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology.
At the Department of Production and Quality Engineering is the vacancy as an engineer. The department currently has approximately 70 employees, of whom 3 are fixed technical staff. The technical staff serving institute teaching and research with an extensive park of machining and robotic equipment.
The institute has laboratories with equipment for machining, 3D printing, metrology (Metrology) and robotized production. Engineers work will include maintenance of mechanical equipment, share production and fiksturbygging. In addition, guidance tasks associated with lab-related student exercises, as well as administrative tasks related to laboratory operations (eg. Updating of records and HSE procedures).
The position requires the certified industry. Knowledge of CNC controllers Haidenhain and Okuma, and all GibbsCAM is an advantage. Knowledge of wire sparking (Macino) is also an advantage. Truckfører Evidence is desirable.
