The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is anticipating openings of postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels I-IV). Seeking qualified candidates with experience in broad biomedical engineering fields (such as biomedical photonics/optoelectronics, biomedical nano- and microscale systems/fabrication, and biomedical computation/modeling) .
The position requires a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering or bioengineering (or similar).
This is an ongoing recruitment and positions are dependent upon availability of extramural funding. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support.
Note: Total duration of an individual’s postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
