Postdoc position in Biology/Genetics/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry, USA (2015)

Postdoctoral Position: A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Ben Holt at the University of Oklahoma. The successful candidate will be part of a team studying the roles of NF-Y transcription factors in developmental transitions, light perception, and hormone perception.

Qualifications: PhD in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field. Proven track record of research success as evidenced by quality publications. Excellent communication skills, including both written and spoken English. Candidates with strong plant biochemistry skills (co-immunoprecipitation, ChIP, EMSA, protein purification, etc.) will complement our current strengths in plant genetics and molecular biology and are strongly encouraged to apply. Previous experience with Arabidopsis is a plus, but not an absolute requirement. The position has an initial appointment period of one year, but can be extended for future years.
