Senior Research Scientist in Catalysis at DTU Chemistry: A Senior Research Scientist position is now available in the Centre for Catalysis and Sustainable Chemistry (CSC) at DTU Chemistry, Technical University of Denmark. CSC is applying an application-oriented research strategy and employs currently 4 faculty and about 20 graduates/post graduates in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities: The candidate will be engaged in development of various solid catalyst formulations and process intensification in conversion of refinery feed stocks to commodity chemicals in flow reactors. This project is closely linked to collaborative research projects with other university partners and chemical industry with special focus on inorganic synthesis, structural characterization, and catalyst testing.

Qualifications/Required:
The candidate should hold a PhD degree in chemistry/chemical engineering with a experience in experimental chemistry. The ideal candidate should  posses a strong postgraduate background in inorganic chemistry and catalysis with documented experience and publication track record in several of the areas like, materials synthesis, homogeneous/heterogeneous catalysis, ionic liquid technology and flow synthesis.

Salary and appointment terms
