TERI University’s roots can be traced back to 1998, when ‘TERI School of Advanced Studies’ was established. The School was subsequently renamed as the TERI University in October 2006. TERI University was conceived to cater to the need of disseminating the vast reservoir of knowledge created by TERI, a not for profit, independent research institute recognized globally for its contribution to scientific and policy research in the realms of energy, environment, and sustainable development.
1. Position: Post-doctoral fellow/Research Associate
This is an opportunity or post-doctoral scholars in the life sciences (laboratory-, field- or informatics-based) desirous of pursuing a pathway to research independence.

If the associateship is awarded, the proposed research will be operationalized at TERI University as per the terms of the award.
Eligibility :- Doctoral degree in engineering or in the sciences.

Job Description
The Department of Policy Study is hiring a Research Assistant for the SANDEE funded project titled “Economic Value of Biodiversity Conservation provided by Forest and Agro-forest Ecosystems in Kodagu District.” Monthly salary would be 23,400 INR. Travel expenses to the study site would be covered by the project fund in addition to the salary. Working hours will be from 9 am-5pm from Monday-Friday.
Qualifications
Minimum qualification is a Masters in Economics from a UGC accredited University. We request applications from candidates with expertise and interests in Non-market Valuation and Econometrics. The appointee should be well versed with STATA.
