Postdoctoral position in Dynamic Combinatorial Chemistry, Denmark

A two-year postdoctoral fellowship in chemistry is available at the Department of Chemistry, University of Copenhagen. The successful applicant is expected to have experience in the field of dynamic combinatorial chemistry, and to have worked with organoselenium-based materials. We offer a position in an exciting research environment where synthetic (organic) chemistry is used in concert with physical-organic chemistry, computational methods and spectroscopic methods to solve problems in contemporary organic chemistry.

The postdoc position is a full-time research position and does not involve any teaching obligations. Note that the position will not contribute to a broadening of pedagogical competencies. Therefore, the postdoctoral position may not alone qualify for appointment as associate professor/senior researcher.

Postdoctoral positions require qualifications at the PhD level.

Salary and conditions of employment:

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). The annual salary for postdoctoral researchers is within the range DKK 385,140 – 405,500. In addition to the salary paid directly to you, the University will also pay a monthly contribution to your pension fund corresponding to 17.1 % of your salary.
