Marie Sklodowska Curie Postdoctoral Position in Synthetic Photoswitches (Ref. MC-PG) The Nanoprobes and Nanoswitches group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for postdoctoral candidates to apply for the 2015 call of the Marie Sklodowska Curie Individual Fellowhsips in order to develop research in novel synthetic photoswitches.

Tasks and responsibilities: – Multidisciplinary research on the design and development of light-regulated drugs especially focused on G proteincoupled ligands and peptide inhibitors.

Requirements for candidates:

PhD Degree in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.

– Experience in organic synthesis, drug design and development.

– High level of English and good communication skills.

– Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records and organize and prioritize own work and research within the project schedule.

– Computer literacy, analytical skills and effective team working.

– Self-critical, capacity to learn and bring knowledge.
