We are seeking a Principal Research Engineer to develop and use mass spectrometry-based techniques combined with chemometric bioinformatics to study brain tumor types glioma. Applicants must have documented postdoctoral experience in mass spectroscopic characterization of tumor types glioma. The position is full-time and time-limited until 2018-01-30. To start immediately.
Project description: The project involves the development and application of various types of mass spectrometry to quantify metabolites in the relevant tissues and biofuels, and relate the resulting data to phenotypic information using chemometric bioinformatics. Furthermore, the results and hypotheses generated from metabolomikstudierna be monitored using functional studies in the relevant systems to investigate and validate biochemical mechanisms.
