The Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Ltd is a Public Sector Undertaking of Government of Andhra Pradesh, established with the objectives of exploration, exploitation and development of Mineral based industries. APMDC has proposals for exploration and exploitation of many minerals in the State.

To complete a comprehensive study of these mineral deposits in the State and undertake their evaluation & exploitation, APMDC is inviting applications from sincere, dedicated and reliable candidates for the posts of
- Consultant (Coal)
- Consultant (Bauxite)
- Consultant (Low Grade Iron Ore)
which are equivalent to General Manager cadre. The candidates must be interested in a long term association and should have rich work experience in the concerned field.
- General Qualifications
- Education : Graduation in the concerned field. Age : Maximum of 55 years
- Experience : Minimum of 15 years work experience in the concerned field
In case of candidates with extraordinary abilities, the Corporation may relax qualifications, age, experience, etc.
- Essential Qualification
Prior work experience in exploration and mining of relevant mineral is a must. RQP certificate will be an added advantage.
- Nature of duties / Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject expert for the relevant mineral • Plan and supervise mineral exploration in the State
- Supervise the preparation of geological reports and mine plans • Conduct comparative study of different mining methods suitable for the relevant mineral and advise the best suitable method
- Provide technical support in bid process management and MDO selection •Geological mapping, Computerised Modelling evaluation of deposits • Establish efficient production systems at mine sites
- Salary
Salary commensurate with qualification and experience.
