Research grant for Postgraduate students in spain 2015

The 2015 call will offer 14 predoctoral grants. Consideration will be given to applicants’ CVs, the PhD programmes they are enrolled in, proposed research projects and their suitability for the research areas of the teams they will be attached to, in keeping with the priorities set by The University of Deusto research policy.

University graduates enrolled in official PhD programmes at the University of Deusto, who wish to take part in scientific and technical courses and activities are eligible as grant recipients. Candidates must meet the entry requirements and fit the profile set for the PhD programme.

Applicants are required to have been admitted or enrolled in a PhD programme at the University of Deusto. Their grant application requires the approval of the principal investigator of the research team (officially recognised at the UD) which they would join to do their research project.

The application, duly approved by the principal investigator, should determine which of the two types of the above theses that the candidate commits to undertaking and the PI of the research team.

Applications must be submitted online before the deadline, 8 May 2015 at 23:59 (Spain, GMT+1).

The grants will have a duration of 12 months, calculated from the time they are awarded, according to the final decision concerning this call for applications.

The Vice-Rector’s Office of Research and Transfer may renew these grants yearly up to a maximum of 36 consecutive months.

This programme aims to foster research training within the framework of the University of Deusto’s PhD programmes by awarding assistance for research work conducted as members of Deusto University research teams.
