Applications are invited for posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the Board of Research in Nuclear Science (BRNS), Government of India sponsored project entitled “Direct Measurement of Plasma Potential by Laser heated Emissive Probe in Aditya Takamak” at VIT University Chennai.
This project will be carried out in collaboration with Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar under National Fusion Prgramme (NFP), and hence the project personal would be worked at IPR with the available experimental facilities at IPR.
Project Duration: 2 Years.
Position : Senior Research Fellow (One) Rs.28,000 (Fixed amount)
Qualification : E.Q.: M. Sc./M. Tech. in Physics/Applied Physics/Plasma Physics and at least 2 years experience in Experimental Physics.
D.Q.: Preferences will be given to those candidates who are working on experimental plasma physics.
The Respective fellowships are consolidated amount per month and appointments under the project are to be treated as temporary and will be governed by the Administrative rules/service conditions of the VIT University.
