Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) by University Grants Commission: Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) is an autonomous centre of the UGC under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Gov, of India, which is playing an active & dynamic role as a coordinator cum facilitator in accelerator based research in Indian universities for more than two decades.

Application are invited on plain paper for purely temporary post of project assistant in the field of experimental condensed matter physics to work on “ Physics & Technology of Oxide Heterostructures”.

Funding agency: funded by DST under DST-INSPIRE Faculty program.

Requirements / Qualifications: The details for Project assistant position are as follows:

Essential qualification: MSc or MTech in physics/ applied physics/material science.

Desirable: Experience of working in experimental laboratory.

Duration: One year but renewable for next year.

Remuneration (Salary): Rs. 10,000 consolidated.

Note: No TA/DA will be offered to candidates called for interview.

 Qualification:

1. M. Sc. (Physics) with consistently good academic records from Class-X examination onwards (with at
   least 60% marks all throughout).
2. Candidates who are slated to complete their M. Sc. course in the academic year 2016-17 are also eligible to apply provided final degree is available at the time of interview.
