Early Stage Researcher (ESR) and Research Fellow positions are vacant at ELI-HU Research and Development (Non-Profit Limited Liability Company). The positions are available in Solid High Harmonic Generation Group (SHHG) within the Attosecond Sources (ALPS) Division at ELI-HU.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Applicant must have background in laser matter interaction and/or ultrashort light pulses, high harmonic generation and spectroscopic investigations in gas or solid phase targets (must for post-doctoral candidates).
- Understanding in big collaborative projects and experiments would be valued high.
- Applicant must be highly motivated self-driven.
- Applicant must have good English (written and spoken) communication skills.
- Applicant must have outstanding academic foundation in optics and photonics related field.
- Some experience in programming languages (Matlab, Mathematica, Labview) would be given due weightage and familiarity with ray tracing packages, Fortran/ Python/ C++ languages will be additional advantage.
For Early Stage Researchers:
- Applicant must be University student in their last year of an Master’s Program in relevant specialization field (physicist, engineering physicist), assuming that they recently completed/ will complete their studies by/around 30th August, 2016 or
- Applicant can be a PhD student working in relevant research fields or
- Applicant can be early stage researchers or engineers without PhD degree.
For Research Fellows:
- Applicant must have doctoral degree or submitted PhD thesis in relevant research field.
