Immunology Department, Institute of Clinical Medicine invites applications for Three postdoctoral positions. The research group is headed by Prof Ludvig A Munthe. The group studies the dis-regulated interactions between Th cells and B cells influence on autoimmunity and B cell cancer.

Requirements:

• PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology
• Experience in the field of Cancer Biology, Hematology, Translational Medicine, Tumor Immunology or related fields.
• PhD/M.D.-PhD degree that acknowledges working in an international and interactive environment.

Description of positions:

1. Three-year postdoc position in pathogenesis research in CLL and multiple myeloma. The fellow will continue using our technical breakthroughs that include in-vitro culture of primary human cells, copying the microenvironment and xenografting into NSG mice.
2. Two-year postdoc position: Microenvironment research and testing of new TCR based biologic for B cell cancer. The fellow will work in association with the Biotech Company.
3. Two-year postdoctoral fellow position: In microenvironment studies, human autoimmune disease with focus on SLE as well as Immune thrombocytopenic purpura, ITP. The postdoc will widen our murine SLE work to humans, including signaling aberrations in autoreactive B cells in SLE patients The project’s focal point is on the pathogenesis of autoimmune Th cell-B cell collaboration. The Postdoc will work jointly with a PhD candidate and the autoimmunity subgroup, with 2 senior researchers.
