Scientist-G Level: 14
Minimum Basic : Rs. 1,44,200/- + allowances
2 Scientist-B Level: 10
Minimum Basic : Rs. 56,100 /- + allowances

Required Educational Qualification:

Scientist-G

1. Essential: Doctorate degree in Natural / Agricultural /Engineering / Medical Sciences or Nanoscience /Technology.
2. In the case of medical professionals, the minimum qualification could be an M.D. or equivalent as approved by MCI.
3. Desirable:
   1. At-least eight years of postdoctoral/ professional experience after PhD.
   2. High-quality publications
   3. Patents filed / granted
   4. PhD students guided.
4. Experience of fifteen years

Scientist-B

1. Essential: Master’s Degree in Natural / Agriculture Sciences, Nano Science and Technology or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine from recognized University or equivalent.
2. Experience of two years in Research and Development
