Research Scientist vacancy at the  NRSC-ISRO: National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is a key organisation of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) having its main headquarter at Balanagar, Hyderabad Striving to realize the Indian Space Vision through Earth Observation.

The organisation is responsible for the Ground Segment of Remote Sensing Program through satellite data acquisition, archival, processing, dissemination, Remote Sensing Applications, Training and Capacity Building.

NRSC – ISRO invites online applications for following Temporary positions of Research Scientists:

Designation: Research Scientist Vacancy

No of Positions: 19 posts:

1. 11 posts: BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc. in Geo-Informatics / Geomatics/ Remote Sensing/ equivalent Software development in web applications technologies using javascript, HTML, Object Oriented languages/PHP, Client-server & web architectures. Knowledge & Experience in RDBMS, UML, XML, Web Designing, customization, free/open source GIS product
2. 08 posts: Satellite Image processing/analysis uses commercial /Open source softwares, Data Collection, database management & satellite data value addition. Digital Photogrammetric algorithm development, Photogrammetry

Pay Scale : ₹ 15600 – 39100  Grade Pay ₹5400/-,

Qualification:  BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc. degree should be in First Class with an aggregate of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA of 6.84 on a 10 Point scale., Age : 18-35 years.

Note:

1. The positions of Research Scientists are purely temporary
2. Selected candidates shall be engaged initially for a period of two (02)years, extendable up to the validity of the project.
3. In any case, the maximum period of engagement shall not exceed five (05) years.
