CaSuS: PhD, University of Göttingen, Germany 1940 views

CaSuS (Catalysis for Sustainable Synthesis) which is supported by the Ministry for Science and Culture of Lower Saxony at GeorgAugust-University Göttingen and Technical University Braunschweig.

University is looking for highly qualified and motivated aspirants for research projects in Göttingen or Braunschweig. The interdisciplinary course provides electrifying research opportunities in the field of catalysis chemistry with a meticulous focus on molecular catalysis. Research projects array from the design of new types of molecular catalysts and the revelation of fundamental reaction mechanisms to the synthesis of polymers or natural products and applications in technologically relevant processes.

CaSuS (Catalysis for Sustainable Synthesis) program is international PhD program projected for selected applicants from all countries holding an outstanding academic degree (Master degree, German Diploma or equivalent) in chemistry or relevant fields.

Application requirements include:

  • Completely filled and signed application
  • Transcripts of all university degrees (certified copies, for any transcript which is not in English or German a certified translation is necessary); the records of the master’s degree can be given in before the date of the interview if the application documents include a preliminary certificate of the master’s degree.
  • English proficiency Proof is must.
  • Research proposal, maximum of two pages. Proposal shall including research subject and envisioned projects.
  • Copy of scientific publications (not more than 3)
  • Proof for employment placements or teaching familiarity demonstrating the qualification for this doctoral program.
  • CV in English language.
  • Statement, whether the aspirant has already started a PhD process and whether this has been effectively completed or not.
  • Acceptance Letter from Ph.D. supervisor.
