Enhanced Eurotalents is a FP7 Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFOUND Programme, co-funded by the European Commission and managed by the French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (CEA), aiming at nurturing international mobility of researchers at post-doctoral level and more.

Level of Researcher: Post-doctorate

Duration: 12 to 36 months.

Subject areas:

  1. Energy, Environment and Climate Change
  2. Key Enabling Technologies (KET)
  3. Life Sciences and Biotechnology (LSB)
  4. High Energy Physics, High Energy Density Physics and Physics of the Universe (HEPPU).

Two types of fellowships are available:

  • Incoming CEA Fellowship(ICF)
  • Outgoing CEA Fellowships (OCF)

Incoming CEA Fellowship (ICF)

  • Researchers who want to accomplish a research project in a CEA laboratory
  • Eligibility: the applicant shall not have stayed in France more than a year during the 3 years prior to the submission of the research project.
  • For this mobility scheme, called Incoming CEA Fellowship (ICF), three selection sessions are organized every year.
  • The cut-off dates to submit a research project are: 30th September 2016; 31st January 2017; 31st May 2017.

Outgoing CEA Fellowships (OCF)

  • CEA researchers who have mobility project in a host laboratory outside France
  • For this mobility scheme, called Outgoing CEA Fellowships (OCF), one selection session is organized yearly.
  • The cut-off dates to submit a research project are: 31st May 2017
  • Eligibility: applicant shall not have resided in the host country more than 12 months during the three years prior to the submission of the research proposal.

Education and experience requirements

  • Applicant must hold a Doctorate or equivalent with at least 4 years of active experience in research after a Master’s degree at the date when the mobility period starts.

Note: There are no nationality requirements; any experienced researchers may apply, regardless of their nationality.

Project selection rounds are scheduled each year with strict deadlines. Thus, Applications will be reviewed at 10 cut-off dates during the program:

September 30th, 2016; January 31st, 2017; May 31st, 2017
