The University of Queensland in Australia is offering Students from India the India Global Leader Scholarship. The scholarship is available for pursuing Undergraduate or Postgraduate Program.

The scholarship aims at providing an opportunity for exemplary students from India to further their studies in University of Queensland.

The University of Queensland (UQ) is a research university. UQ is primarily located in Queensland’s capital city, Brisbane. It admits the majority of its state’s top achievers.

As one of Australia’s leading universities, UQ is consistently ranked first for:

• business administration,
• mining engineering and
• life sciences in Australia

Level of Study: Undergraduate or Postgraduate program

Subject Areas:  Business, Economics & Law (excluding the MBA program)

Scholarship Value: $5,000 – $10,000 tuition fee

Eligibility Criteria:

• It is open for citizens of India, who normally reside in India and are not already undertaking studies in Australia
• Applicants must have a previous year degree.
• All applicants must meet the University’s English Language Admission Requirements.

• Indian students who wish to start their program at University of Queensland in Semester first, 2019.
• The students who have received an unconditional offer for a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate program and who are starting students at UQ.
• The opportunity is not open to currently enrolled UQ students, or students studying at UQ on study abroad or exchange.
• The basis of scholarship is academic excellence and high achieving students are encouraged to apply.

• Personal/motivational statement
  This statement should be no more than 1,000 words and address:

1. The reasons for your interest in your chosen degree program, including why you wish to study this program at UQ.
2. Your personal goals and ambitions and evidence of any previous activities or experiences (including voluntary activities) which demonstrate your commitment to those goals and ambitions.

• One reference letter from teaching staff at your institution or from an employer, if available (in English).
• The academic reference letters should ideally rank your academic performance against your peer group.
