Lifebrain project: Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 1685 views

A Post-Doctoral Fellowship is available in Lifebrain project at the Center for Lifespan Changes in Brain and Cognition (LCBC) at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo.

The position is dedicated to the European Union funded project “Lifebrain: Healthy minds from 0-100 years: Optimising the use of European brain imaging cohorts.

Duration: 3-4 years; 4th year can be considered with the responsibilities of teaching, depending on the skills of the applicant and the requirement of the department.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must have completed Doctorate within neuroscience, psychology, medicine or a related discipline
  • Applicant must have at least published two papers as first author in international peer-reviewed journals on a relevant theme
  • Applicant must have strong competence in statistics.
  • Applicant must have hands-on skills within neuroimaging, particularly structural MRI; experience with longitudinal modeling of data, the use of different biomarkers (e.g. genotyping, vitamin status or the like), or different cognitive markers in analyses.
  • Applicant must have submitted Doctoral dissertation for evaluation by the closing date.
