Postdoctoral researcher: Microfluidic Instrumentation 967 views

University of Luxembourg invites applications from highly motivated scholars for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in microfluidic instrumentation. The position contract is fixed term; 18 months, 40 hrs/week

Starting date: at the earliest (subject to candidate availability)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Design, fabrication, prototyping, testing and validation of the microGUT system
  • Work in close partnership with Fraunhofer institute and Technical University of Denmark.
  • Extensive travels and research stays at both these partner sites

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a strong background in developing microfluidic analytical system.
  • Applicant must hold PhD in microfluidics, instrumentation, mechanical engineering, or related field is required.
  • Applicants with some industry experience would hold an advantage.
  • Applicant must possess good communication skills, ability to work in a past-faced environment.
  • Applicant must be able to work independently to achieve targets without daily supervision.
