UNU-IIGH: PhD Fellowship Programme 2587 views

The UNU-IIGH (United Nations University- International Institute for Global Health) PhD Fellowship Programme offers opportunity for candidates registered in a PhD programme to develop their intellectual vision beyond their scientific disciplines.

Eligibility:
  • The Fellowship Programme is open to scholars who are enrolled in PhD programmes in educational institutions around the world.
  • Applicants from developing countries and women are particularly encouraged to apply
Fellowship value:
  • monthly stipend for One year duration of the fellowship
  • the fellow apart from own research work, is expected to take part in the research and academic activities related to UNU-IIGH thematic areas

Research topics includes:

  • Systems Thinking for Urban Health
  • Governance for Global Health

  • Applications for 2018 positions are now being accepted.
  • Applications to be submitted via email to: iigh-info@unu.edu. Following documents are to be included:
  • completed and signed application form
  • Cover letter describing motivation and how a 12-month PhD Fellowship with UNU-IIGH will be benefitting you and UNU-IIGH
  • abstract of current PhD research/dissertation
  • list recent publications (in English)
  • 2 reference letters to support the application (one must come from your current PhD supervisor)
  • Copy of passport details page (scanned copy)
