Pillai Institute of Information Technology (PIIT), Mahatma Education Society’s, Engineering, Media Studies and Research. Applications are invited for the post of JRF to work on the project entitled “Carbon Nantubes based Nanocomposite Ultrafiltration Membranes for Water Purification“ sponsored by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy, Mumbai. The project is being implemented jointly by the faculty at this institute and the faculty at Desalination Division, BARC, Mumbai.
The incumbent will be working in a multidisciplinary field involving physics, chemistry and chemical engineering. His work will involve going to BARC and RRCAT, Indore for the experiments though the candidate will be employed at this institute. The post is purely temporary and will co-terminus with the duration (about 3 years) of the project.
| Qualification | M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry or Biotechnology or B.Tech. / B.E. in Chemical Engineering with minimum of 60% marks. Preference will be given to NET qualified candidates |
