Postdoctoral Fellow/Senior Researcher in Medicine/Biomedicine at Örebro University Örebro, Sweden: The tasks as a postdoctoral fellow/researcher in the project involve chemical and molecular biological methodology to study and characterize the effects and mechanisms of IL17 and IL6 in human cells vascular cells and tissue.
The duties may also include animal experiments. Other duties will include participation in teaching, providing postgraduate students with project work as well as cooperation with PhD students in biomedicine.
Requirements / Qualifications
A person is eligible for a position as postdoctoral fellow/researcher if he or she has obtained a PhD in medicine/biomedicine. To qualify for the position as a postdoctoral fellow the applicant should have completed their Ph.D degree within three years before application deadline.
The successful candidate should have:
- strong background in molecular and cellular biology

- strong background in culturing vascular cells
- experience in working with animal models
- ability to work collaboratively and effectively with researchers from a wide range of disciplines and capable of working in a team environment and a strong inclination for trans-disciplinary science
- good knowledge of both spoken and written English.
