Postdoc position in nanofabrication, directed self-assembly, electronic and sensor device integration

Postdoctoral Scholar positions are available in the Electrical Engineering Department and Materials Research Institute of The Pennsylvania State University, University Park Campus. Successful applicants will conduct research on projects funded by industry and government under the supervision of Prof. T. S. Mayer.

Candidates with a background in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: nanofabrication, directed self-assembly, electronic and sensor device integration, multiphysics simulation, electrical characterization, materials characterization, device analysis.

A Ph.D. in electrical engineering, materials science, physics or a closely related area is required. Successful applicants must have the ability to work independently, supervise the research of graduate and undergraduate students, and interface with research sponsors.

Successful applicants are expected to document the research results in refereed journal publications and present the results at reviews, seminars and conferences. Review of applications will continue until the positions are filled
