Locations: Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and UK.
About the project:
- The aim is to focus on understanding a highly sophisticated but poorly understood sensory organelle called the “stressosome”.
- The relationship between molecular structures and biological function is central to understanding any living system; however the research methodologies required to unravel these relationships are often complex and fast-changing.
Subject areas:
- Structural Biology
- Proteomics & Protein Biochemistry
- Molecular Biology
- Bacterial Genetics
- Food Microbiology
- Mathematical Modeling
- Cell Biology
- Microscopy
- Comparative Genomics
Eligibility:
- Applicants, at the time of recruitment, must be in the first four years (full-time equivalent) of their research careers. Applicants cannot already hold a PhD
- Researchers are required to undertake trans-national mobility (i.e. move from one country to another) when taking up the appointment.
