Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) is seeking a motivated Predoctoral Researcher for the Molecular Modeling and Bioinformatic Group.

Tasks:

• Development of computational tools in the field of drug discovery.
• Generation of small compounds conformations, parameterization, and docking.

Requirements:

• Experience: Practical experience in the use of modeling and simulation software.
• Knowledge: Good level in organic chemistry, small molecules and their interactions.
• Skills: Able to manipulate structure data, basic programming.

Desirable:

• Experience: Setup of systems for molecular dynamics simulation and docking methodologies.
• Knowledge: Drug discovery process.
• Skills: Familiarity with Linux environments and programming languages: R, Python, Bash.
