The Department of Medicine and the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at University of Gothenburg is inviting applications for Guest Professor in Global sustainable development with a focus on health and well-being.
About the job:
- The subject focuses on the measures required to achieve the global goals of sustainable development, in particular SDG3 on health and well-being.
- The central mission of the guest profession in global sustainable development with a focus on health and wellbeing is to create a complete academic environment, nationally and internationally at the forefront.
- The assignment includes overall responsibility for strengthening the university’s relevance as a player for a global goal within SDG3 through research, education and collaboration.
- The work is based on the Sahlgrenska Academy but takes place on a university-wide basis.
- The holder of the guest professorship is expected to actively participate in the development of the research environment through applications for external funding to recruit postdoctoral researchers in subjects relevant to the global goals of sustainable development, in particular SDG3 on health and well-being.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated scientific and pedagogical skills and ability to collaborate. Doctoral degree in a subject with relevance to the field of employment.
