Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion (MPI CEC) invites applications for a PhD student position available in the Department of Heterogeneous Reactions, “Electrochemistry” Group.

Starting date: earliest from 1st April 2017 or later

Duration: 3 years

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold university degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a similar discipline with an excellent grade;
  • Applicants having background in electrochemistry and/or surface characterization would be beneficial.
  • Applicant must have good knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)
  • Applicant must possess good communication and presentation skills and be able capable of teamwork.
