A GRANT-IN-AID INSTITUTE UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF ATOMIC ENERGY, GOVT. OF INDIA: POSITIONS AVAILABLE: The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is a Comprehensive Cancer Centre with a mission to achieve the highest standards in patient care, cancer prevention, cancer research and professional development for oncology and allied disciplines. TM C is an autonomous Grant-in-Aid Institute of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. TMC is affiliated to Homi Bhabha National institute (HBNI).

The HBNI is a Deemed University of the Department of Atomic Energy with a mission to develop high quality postgraduate educational programs in science and technology including those related to life and health sciences. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

(1.) ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, MEDICAL ONCOLOGY (SOLID TUMOR): D.M. (Medical Oncology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India with 1 year experience post D.M. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Solid Tumor.

(2.) ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, PEDIATRIC SURGERY:M.Ch/D.N.B. (Pediatric Surgery) OR Equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI  with 1 year experience post M.Ch/D.N.B. in Pediatric Surgical Oncology.

(3.) ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, RADIO-DIAGNOSIS: M.D. OR equivalent postgraduate degree in Radiology/Radio-diagnosis recognized by MCI with 03 years post M.D. experience Candidates with more than 1 year experience but less than 3 year experience after post graduation will be considered for lower grade.
       (4.) ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, ANAESTHESIOLOGY: M.D. (Anesthesia) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Anesthesiology recognized by MCI with 3 years post M.D. experience in Anesthesia in a Teaching Hospital. Experience in critical care and pain management is desirable.

(5.) SCEINTIFIC OFFICER ‘D” (TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH LABORATORY): PhD in Life Sciences with 7 to 8 year  experience in Molecular Cytogenetic, Spectral Karyotyping, Confocal Microscopy and Immunocytochemistry and should  have adequate research output as evidenced by publications in the field in peer-reviewed National and international Journals.

(6.) SCIENTIFIC OFFICER ‘D’ (CENTRE FOR CANCER EPIDEMIOLOGY): M.Sc. in (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences) with minimum 3 years of research experience of working as JRF/SRF OR Ph.D. in Epidemiology/Public Health or in final stages of submitting thesis in Epidemiology/Public Hearth. Candidates should have experience in working on large scale Epidemiological studies, proven ability in analyzing large scale Epidemiological studies, proven knowledge of working in field of Molecular Epidemiology, experience of working in High throughput genotyping platforms and in the field of Population genetics.
