02 PhD positions: Health Economics 1016 views

The Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Basel invites applications to fill two vacant positions for Doctoral Students with a specialization in Health Economics, each with a 60% appointment.

Starting date: Sept. 1 and Oct. 1, 2019 respectively

About the position:

• The selected candidates are expected to finish the dissertation within four years and are encouraged to attend specialized PhD level courses during the dissertation.
• Along with writing their dissertation, candidates are expected to support heath economics courses at the B.A. or M.A. level.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be interested in theory and applications in the area of health economics.
• Applicant must have Master’s degree in economics
• Applicant must possess solid background in microeconomics and econometrics
• Applicant must possess strong English reading and writing skills, and master German.
