The Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) is one of the UK’s top research universities, ranked fifth for world-leading and internationally excellent research.

Scholarship Award: Around £12 million is spent by Queen Mary for research studentships every year.

This includes the following scholarships:

  • QMUL principal’s postgraduate research studentships,
  • Research council uk (rcuk) funded studentships,
  • Funding from industry and
  • Funding from research charities and cultural institutions

Number of Scholarships: 100 fully or partially funded studentships.
Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must have previous degrees
  • All students should have a good standard of English in order to successfully study on a course.
  • The minimum English language requirement is GCSE grade C or 4, though the requirements for some courses may be higher.

Application process: 

Step 1: The course of study from the list of postgraduate courses should be selected by the applicant
Step 2: Academic entry requirements must be fulfilled as per specific information provided by the choice of course
Step 3: English language and foundation courses
