The Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich is a center of competence for Swiss and international security policy. It offers security policy expertise in research, teaching, and consultancy and is offering four six-week internship to graduate and undergraduate students in their final year of study. Interns will contribute to the CSS research projects, assist the senior researchers with their research, editorial, and networking activities, and co-author articles with CSS researchers.
Research areas:
- Swiss/Transatlantic/European/Global security, mediation and peace support (mainly preparation and realization for RMC course)
- Socio-technical resilience/emerging technologies/civil protection
- Cyber security
- Nuclear deterrence and disarmament
Requirements:
Graduate students or undergraduate students in their final year with the following skills:
- Excellent English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to read and analyze content quickly and objectively
- A detailed knowledge of current affairs
- A strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly
- Initiative and a willingness to participate in, and contribute to, the activities of the CSS.
