The second Post Doc position (for 3 years) is within the topic “Multi-layer control optimization in complex offshore HVDC grids” and is part of the IDeCON research project. It is supported by the Norwegian Research Council and external partners such DNV GL, Tecnalia Research and Innovation and the University of Nottingham.

The third Post Doc position (for 2 years) is available within “Modelling of Flexible Resources in the Distribution Grid”. The project aims at developing novel methods for optimal operation, sizing and placement of flexible resources (such as batteries) in constrained distribution grids, and use the developed methods to evaluate the economics of realistic flexibility options as alternative to grid reinforcements in selected case-study grids.

The fourth Post Doc position (for 2 years) is within “Synchrophasor/PMU Application, Implementation and Data exchange”. This is part of a project to develop a control centre platform where PMU-based applications can be implemented and tested in the operational environment at transmission system operators.
