The Faculty of Humanities at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) announces up to 5 doctoral positions. The positions are 3-year-olds without any work or 4-year-olds with 25% work, depending on the institute’s needs.
About the positions:
- One of the positions is earmarked for the PhD program in artistic development.
- The applications will be considered together.
- Applicants from all disciplines at the Faculty of Humanities are invited to apply.
- The candidate who is hired undertakes to complete the PhD study within the employment period.
- The PhD program at the Faculty of Humanities is organized in the following program within the scientific PhD degree: aesthetic subjects, history and cultural sciences, linguistics and interdisciplinary cultural studies, as well as audiovisual media (joint degree with the Inland University College).
Requirements:
- Master’s degree with a weighted average grade over the last two years of study at B or better compared with NTNU’s grading scale
- For Artistic PhD similar artistic competence can also be assessed.
- Strong professional and / or artistic background
