5 JRF positions at DIHAR-DRDO in Life Science: Walk-in-Interview at the Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR) situated at Leh-Ladakh (J&K) is a frontier institute part of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) that endeavors at providing nutrition, health & energy security for the troops through development of cold arid agroanimal technologies and herbal prophylactics.

DIHAR- DRDO requires Five Junior Research Fellows to work in various research projects.

Requirements:

  1. NET qualified candidates with Ist class M.Sc or equivalent degree in Agriculture/HorticultureA/egetable Science/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Botany/Zoology/sciences/Bio-Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Plant Pathology/Agriculture Entomology are eligible to attend the interview.
  2. The max. age for JRF is 28 years.
  3. The fellowship will be governed by DRDO regulations.
  4. Date and Venue: The walk-in-lnterview will be held on 20 October 2016 from 1000 hrs onwards at DIHAR Base Lab Chandigarh, Near 3 BRD, Industrial Area, Phase-ll, Chandigarh (Tele No. 0172-2638900). Interested candidates are required to submit attested copies of the marksheets (matric-
    ulation onwards) and certificates on reporting at the venue and to produce original documents at the time of interview.
  5. Note: The no. of vacancies may increase or decrease without assigning any reason.
  6.  No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
