PhD Studentships

Studentship value:

  • Home/EU university tuition fees
  • Maintenance grant: up to £14,553 per annum (tax-free)
  • Reimbursement of travel costs
  • Studentships are open to overseas students provided they can support the difference between home and overseas fees (£15,805).

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have (or expect to obtain) a first-class degree in a numerate discipline (Mathematics, Science or Engineering) or MSc with Distinction (or 70% average) and a strong interest in pursuing research in this field.
  • Applicants having experience relevant to the area of research would hold adavantage.
