NIT Rourkela, an institute of national importance under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India invites applications from Indian nationals possessing excellent academic background along-with commitment to quality teaching and research for purely TEMPORARY / AD-HOC faculty positions with consolidated remuneration in the Department of Food Process Engineering, educational qualification and other details are as below.

Educational Qualification

  1. PhD and M. Tech.  in  Food Process Engineering / Food Technology or any other relevant specialization from a reputed Institute/University with B. Tech. in Food Process Engineering / Food Technology / Agricultural Engineering.
  2. A minimum of 60% mark or 6.5/10 CGPA is required at both B. Tech. and M.Tech. levels. I
  3. f suitable candidate with PhD is not available, candidate with M. Tech. having good academic career and GATE/NET score would be considered.

Remuneration: Consolidated remuneration as per institute rule.

With Ph.D Rs 61,681/- per month.
Without Ph.D.- Rs 54,034/- per month.

Period of engagement: Six (06) months (This may be extended as per requirement at the discretion of the institute).
