The Human Rights Law Centre (HRLC) is inviting applications for Anamax Charitable Foundation Scholarship. The application is for a short course.

Duration of the course: 30 September  to 13th December 2019 

Nationality: open for students from developing countries.

The Human Rights Law Centre (HRLC) was established in 1993. It was established with the objective of conducting human rights research in post-Soviet Russia and to provide training to the judiciary and law enforcement agencies across the former territories.

Level of study:  short course

Subject Area:  International Human Rights Law.

Scholarship Award: The Scholarship value will be up to the value of £2,750

 The scholarship will cover:

  • Travel to and from Nottingham to attend the course (including airfare, airport transfers)
  • Accommodation for the 10 weeks of the course, inclusive of all related taxes and bills.

Number of Scholarships: 2

Eligibility criteria:

  • The applicants must be candidates from developing countries.
  • The applicants should demonstrate a desire to know more about the human rights and who would return home to work in human rights.
  • The candidate should have a very good command of the English language.

  • A 1,000-word statement explaining why one wants to apply for the short course and explain the work one will be undertaking in human rights after returning to his/her home country.
