Austria Scholarships for Bachelor, Diploma, Master, Doctoral/PhD Students by the Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria

The Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria offers scholarships in the form of Grants to international students (except Austrians) for Undergraduate, Graduate &Postgraduate study to be carried out in Austria.

Eligibility Conditions

  1. The fellowship can be taken to pursue research:
    • on their bachelor thesis
    • on their diploma or master thesis
    • or their dissertation.

AGE LIMIT: 

  1. Doctoral students: 40 years
  2. for other students: 35 years

Scholarship benefits details: The scholarship grant benefit are:

  1. Monthly scholarship of 940 EUR
  2. An accident and health insurance: if necessary.
  3. The OeAD provides scholarship holders with accommodation (student dormitory or apartment).
  4. Applicants from countries that are neither members of the EU nor members of EFTA, EEA or OECD can be granted a travel allowance.
