The applications are invited for Bioimaging: Advanced Light Microscopy under B4 Young Scientist Program. This course is the result of collaboration between The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute, Harvard University, IBAB, Bangalore, and IISER, Pune. The programme is funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
About the program:
- The aim of this course is to introduce talented Indian students to the emerging area of new technologies and analytical solutions in light microscopy.
- The two-week immersion course will introduce the students to some of the most exciting developments in this area, advanced techniques involved in genome engineering, and building metabolic pathways through didactic lectures and hands-on sessions.
- The students are expected to stay on campus for the duration of the workshop.
- Travel and lodging costs for selected students will be covered.

Eligibility:
- Open to Indian students currently pursuing any of the following courses in Indian institutions:
- Doctoral and post-doctoral researchers in the fields of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or Computer Science, currently engaged in relevant areas of research
- Students currently enrolled in MBBS, M.Pharm, M.Sc., ME, or M.TECH programs
- Exceptionally talented undergraduate students
