The David E. Bell Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies (HCPDS) provides opportunities for research and leadership training in a flexible, one or two year non-degree program for postdoctoral researchers in the field of population and development.
Requirements:
- Applicant must hold a strong record of academic training, proven research experience & a dedication to population and development work
- Applicant must demonstrate ability to work independently and must have leadership potential.
- Bell Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is open to both U.S. and international scholars.
Stipend and Benefits:

Application Procedure:
- Application materials to be submitted via email individual PDF files. Files must include:
- CV
- Transcripts from college and any graduate schools attended (all doctoral requirements must have been finished)
- Research Proposal (max. 2,000 words)
- Writing sample that establishes the applicant’s writing and analytical skills, as well as the ability to generate interesting and original ideas (max 20 pages).
- Applicant’s current contact information including mailing address and phone number(s).
- 3 recommendation letters (must be emailed directly, if possible, on letterhead).
- Evidence of doctoral degree
