The Berlin Doctoral Program in Economics and Management Science (BDPEMS) at Humboldt University of Berlin is inviting applications from exceptional young academics by offering a research oriented course program, close student-faculty interaction, and excellent research opportunities.

Scholarship value:
  • monthly scholarships of up to 1200€

Duration: Two years

Requirements:

  • Applicant must hold a Master’s degree (Fast Track applicants of course apply with a Bachelor degree), preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related subject.
  • Successful applicants will score at or above the 90th percentile in the quantitative and analytical section of the GRE General Test and have performed exceptionally in their previous studies.
  • Evidence of creativity and inclination towards research will be taken into consideration.

Application procedure

  • CV
  • a motivation letter stating research interests,
  • information on all previous studies, i.e. transcripts, certificates, etc.,
  • Two letter of recommendation of academic referees,
  • GRE scores institution code (GMAT scores are only applicable for business applicants)
  • IELTS or TOEFL scores (exempted from handing in IELTS/TOEFL scores if native language is English or have obtained a university degree from an English speaking country).
