Candidates interested and experience in the below areas are eligible to apply:
- Spatial biodiversity modelling, biodiversity scaling and turnover
- Landscape level approaches to conversation planning.
- Species abundance and distribution responses to climate change and the identification of microrefugia.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- PhD in Ecology, Biodiversity Science or Numerical/Mathematical Ecology, Community Ecology with a significant modelling component or relevant subject.
- Publications in high-ranked journals that evidently reflect evidence of independent skill to perform and publish research papers.
- Establish expertise in R and the use of Geographic Information System software.
- Be passionate about joint research.
- Knowledge in Botany considered added value.
- Ability to correspond effectively with other researchers at the interface of empirical and theoretical ecology.
- Strong proficiency in English.
