One Postdoctoral position is available in Biostatistics at the Institute of Clinical Medicine; University of Oslo.
Duration: the position is available for a period of 3 years.
Qualifications and Personal Skills:
- Applicant must hold Doctorate in statistics, mathematics or related field which must be equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree.
- Applicant must have already defended their PhD thesis prior to starting in this job.
- Applicant must be highly motivated with an outstanding potential, with experience in applied biostatistics and statistical genetics.
- Applicant must demonstrate experience in programming.
- Applicant must be able to work efficiently as part of a team, but also to develop and take up independent ideas.
- The successful fellows are expected to carry out novel research at the highest international level.
- Applicant must have good presentation skills in English (written and oral).
