CATCHY 14 PhD fellowships: Nanotechnology

14 PhD fellowships in the field of Nanotechnology, Physics, Chemistry & Chemical Engineering under the MSCA ITN project CATCHY in multiple locations in Europe.

Organization: Marie Sklodowska Curie Innovative Training Networks, under the European Commission’s H2020 Programme.

Research Theme: Catchy, whose goal is to design, implement and produce novel, high-performance, multi-metallic cluster-based catalysts for CO2 hydrogenation and electro-reduction into valuable fuelsis a new H2020-MSCA-ITN-Marie Curie European training network for Early Stage Researchers (ESR) in nanotechnology that will start in November 2020.

Countries Involved: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Switzerland and UK.

Entry Level: Early Stage Research (ESR).

Disciplines: Physics, Chemistry, Computational Quantum Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering.

We are now looking for highly motivated candidates for 14 ESR opening positions with the starting date of May 1st 2021.

Fellowship Benefits: The successful candidates will receive an attractive salary in accordance with the MSCA regulations for Early Stage Researchers.

Duration: The guaranteed PhD funding is for 36 months.

Requirements / Qualifications

  1. Eligible candidates may be of any nationalitybut must not, at the time of recruitment have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in the country of their host organization for more than 12 months in the 3 last years immediately prior to the reference date.
  1. Each ESR will have to make at least one secondment (temporary research exchange to another Catchy partner) for a total period varying from 4 to 6 months during the duration of his/her employment.
  2. Good use of English language (including both written and oral fluency) is essential
