CLEOPATRA ITN, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network project is offering a unique interdisciplinary and cross sectoral research and training programme, which will explore how we can begin to analyse and understand the major events that influence and shape our lives and our societies.
Locations: Germany, UK, Slovenia, Netherlands, Croatia
Starting date: July 1st, 2019 (at latest)
Study fields: Computer Science and Digital Humanities.
Duration: The positions are offered full-time for three years (36 months).
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a strong background in Computer Science or Digital Humanities (an outstanding MSc degree in the corresponding discipline).
- Familiarity with one or more of the following areas is of advantage: Semantic Technologies, Human Computer Interaction, Natural Language Processing, Information Extraction and Machine Learning.
- Good proficiency in English is expected; knowledge of further European languages is of advantage.
- At the time of recruitment, the potential candidate “must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the recruiting beneficiary for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the recruitment date.
- According to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie rules, Early-Stage Researchers shall, at the time of recruitment by the host organisation, “be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree”.
