The Danish Government is inviting applications from all over the world from highly qualified and ambitious international students to study in Denmark.
A number of scholarships are therefore offered each year by the Danish Ministry of Education to fund students from countries outside the European Union/ European Economic Area. The degree higher education program can be fully funded by the scholarship.

Scholarship value: The government scholarship consists of two parts.
- It can be given as full or partial tuition fee waivers and/or
- grants towards covering the living costs.
The applicant should enquire about the details of the scholarship at the respective chosen higher institution. The reason being that the scholarships are administered individually by the participating universities.
Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must be:
- Either be a citizen of a country outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.
- Enrolled in a full time degree program.
- Residence permit to stay in Denmark due to education should be granted for a limited time period
Application instructions:
The Danish institutions of higher education, each of which decides which students will receive a scholarship and which will not need to be consulted for their respective entry requirements, course descriptions, deadlines and student services.
