The MaxPo PhD program is organized in close association with the doctoral program of the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy (IMPRS-SPCE). The MaxPo invites applications for doctoral fellowships under the supervision of Prof. Jenny Andersson or Prof. Olivier Godechot.

Eligibility:

  • Candidates will hold a master’s degree (or equivalent) and have received training in the following disciplines: History, Sociology, or Political Science, with additional training in related fields.
  • They should have experience with qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • There is no nationality requirement; however, a firm command of English and a working knowledge of French is required.

Fellowship value: 2,188 euros (monthly gross salary)

Duration: 03 year contract

  • One or more letters of recommendation (a letter from your MA advisor would be especially useful).
